MCCC Foundation
Directors, Members
|
The Foundation's directors serve the college in many important ways and are encouraged to bring to the Foundation their interests, expertise, connections, availability and capability. They are expected to fulfill their role in accordance with the MCCC mission statement.
The Foundation and its members establish goals and objectives annually and long-range to serve the mission of the Foundation in the context of the college's established priorities.
Foundation board members are college ambassadors who seek to develop community understanding and support of the college and its programs and services. They help to identify, screen, cultivate and solicit potential contributors to the college.
|
Foundation Friends
Full members of the Foundation participate in its governance and attend, contribute, and otherwise support the fundraising activities at the heart of the Foundation mission.
Individuals who desire to maintain a supportive relationship with the college, but who do not wish to actively participate in the fundraising activities of the Foundation, may choose a membership status known as a "Friend" of the college.
Foundation Friends are invited to college events and asked to demonstrate their support for college programs by contributing in ways not limited to fundraising.

Letter from the Chair
The Mercer County Community College Foundation helps students of all types realize their dreams for a better life through affordable education. The Foundation Board of Directors supports the college by raising funds for student assistance, cultural and athletic programs, instructional improvements, and other needs that align with the college's comprehensive mission.
Throughout the year, generous donors -- individuals, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and corporations -- have made investment decisions to support students and the college's mission. Donors understand the tremendous impact of their gifts; they realize their gift can completely change a student's life.
Those of us who give our time and energy to the college and its students as volunteers are motivated by the fact that students can get a quality education at Mercer County Community College. Through our efforts, we help them prepare for success in their careers and lives.
Let me express my thanks and that of the Foundation to all of our many supporters for investing in the future of the students of Mercer County Community College.
Sincerely,

E. Karen Kennedy
