MCCC Foundation
Trust & Fiduciary Responsibilities
Gifts made to the MCCC Foundation for the benefit of the college are voluntary investments from individuals,
corporations, and philanthropic foundations. Many times, donors are more comfortable contributing through the
Foundation, a private corporation that is accountable to them, than to a state agency. This structure legally
preserves the private nature of the gift and the donor's anonymity when requested.
The MCCC Foundation gives donors additional confidence that their gifts will be used in accordance with their
wishes. In fact, the MCCC Foundation works to issue individual reports to donors who have established endowments,
providing specific information about how funds have been managed and used.
