It is essential for students to seek academic advising for their degree choice. Students may utilize the Academic Advisement Center during the first semester, but thereafter, it is wise to seek program specific advisement from coordinators and faculty.
Any full-time faculty member in the Liberal Arts Division can assist students with academic advisement. Students pursing the general, interdisciplinary Liberal Arts major should utilize the program guide below for a more detailed view of requirements beyond the catalog. Students should arrange a conference with a faculty member of the Liberal Arts Division to ensure the selection of appropriate courses in synch with the guide. Additionally, the Student Advocate can support students throughout the entire course of study at Mercer.
Whatever your major, be sure to identify the Program Coordinator for your degree choice and consult him or her for advisement. Only Program Coordinators can provide detailed information about the major and the profession. Email the Program Coordinator for an appointment.
