Prepare to be swept up in the epic tale of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame," to be presented by The Pennington Players at Kelsey Theatre tonight through Oct. 29. A reception with cast and crew follows tonight's performance. Read more about this spectacular show here.

Monday Is Last Day to Sign up for 'Vikings in Pink' Race for the Cure Team
Monday is the last day to sign up for the MCCC Vikings in Pink - Race for the Cure team, which will participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday, Nov. 5. Both campuses will be involved in fundraising and participation on race day. On Thursday, Oct. 26, from noon to 1 p.m. at both campuses, you can visit the Vikings in Pink table to donate and learn more about the fundraising effort. A portion of MCCC’s donations will be used to fund a Last Semester @ MCCC Scholarship for a student in the Health Professions. Holocaust-Genocide Center Presents Screening of ‘Tickling Giants’ Oct. 24
The Mercer County Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Education Center invites the community to a free screening of the documentary “Tickling Giants” on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Conference Center. Premiering in 2016, the documentary focuses on the political satire of Dr. Bassem Youssef, who left his career as a heart surgeon in Cairo during the Arab Spring to try his hand at comedy, hosting a program on Egyptian television inspired by Jon Stewart's "The Daily Show." HRIM Student Restaurants Open For Tuesday, Wednesday Lunch
MCCC’s HRIM program presents fine dining for Tuesday and Wednesday lunch via the student restaurant! Tickets now on sale for Wednesday, Oct. 18 for the American Regaional student restaurant, which runs through Dec. 17. Starting Tuesday, Oct. 24 and running through Nov. 28, the Little Skillet restaurant will be serving. Seating is from 11:45 - 12:30 p.m. in ES 111. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Buy online, at the Kelsey Theater Box Office or at the Bursar's Office. Tickets are $10 for students, faculty and staff and $12 for guests. Please note that there is an additional charge for tickets purchased online or through the Kelsey Box Office. Tables of six or fewer, please. No refunds. Tickets only valid for a specific date. Learning Center Halloween Open House Oct. 31
The college community will have an opportunity to meet the tutors at the West Windsor Learning Center during a Halloween Open House on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in LB214. Learn about the center's free tutoring services, try to win the giant jug of Hershey Kisses and Reeses Minatures, and eat free candy! All faculty, staff, and students are welcome.

Aaron Turner Photo Exhibit at JKC Gallery, 'Arkansas Delta,' Ends Nov. 1
Wednesday is the last chance to see Aaron Turner's engaging photo exhibit "Arkansas Delta" at the JKC Gallery. Raised in the Arkansas Delta, Turner presents an exhibit capturing the region and its history from an insider's perspective. More here.

Sing Along to Disney's "FROZEN" at Kelsey Theatre Nov. 4
Back by popular demand, Kelsey Theatre presents "Disney's FROZEN Movie Sing-A-Long" on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Children will delight in the chance to sing along to the inspiring score of the Academy Award-nominated film, which has become a modern classic for the younger generation. MCCC, USciences Sign Guaranteed Transfer Agreement
MCCC students pursuing a career in math, engineering, or the sciences can now transfer to University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with full junior status under a new guaranteed transfer agreement signed by the two institutions earlier today. Read more here.

New Writing Center Opens on West Windsor Campus
With the opening of the new Writing Center on the West Windsor Campus, MCCC students seeking to reinforce the concepts they have covered in class have yet another resource to find credentialed tutors ready to serve – whether the subject matter is math and science or English and the humanities. Communications Professor Kathi Paluscio Interviewed on National Radio Program
What do Carol Burnett, Anderson Cooper, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and MCCC Professor of Communications Kathi Paluscio have in common? All four have been recently interviewed on the nationally-syndicated radio program "The Weekend With Ed Kalegi"! Paluscio joined Kalegi on the air Oct. 13 to discuss the fear of public speaking. ‘Never Stop Training,’ Advises Actor Alejandro Hernandez in Return to MCCC
Actor Alejandro Hernandez, a 2008 alumnus who spoke at the Studio Theatre on Oct. 13, has learned a lot since performing in MCCC student productions in the late 2000s. But Hernandez’s commitment to acting is unwavering, and he has had enough encouragement and success along the way to know he is on the right track. Read more here.

Men’s Soccer Players Earn All-Region, All-Conference Honors; Semifinals Oct. 21
The men’s soccer team's regular season drew to a close with two big wins this week: a 6-0 victory over Berkeley, and a 10-0 win over Kingsborough. The Vikings also got word that six members of the team have been selected for post-season honors by the Garden State Athletic Conference and Region 19 of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The team enters the Region 19 playoffs as the #3 seed and will travel to #2-seed Harcum for a semifinal game Saturday. Read more here. See photos on Facebook here.

Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper Palms Named GSAC Player of the Week
Sophomore Shaunice Palms, goalie for the women’s soccer team, was named the Garden State Athletic Conference Division I Player of the Week for October 9-15. Palms had three shutouts for the week and is currently 4th in National Junior College Athletic Association Division I women’s soccer in saves with 145 in 15 games. Read more here.

Through Dec. 13: Yoga and Zumba Classes in PE Building. The schedule includes Monday evening yoga fthrough Dec. 11 in PE225, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m; Wednesday lunchtime yoga through Dec. 13 in the gym, noon to 1 p.m.; and Tuesday Zumba through Dec. 12, in the gym from noon to 1 p.m. Note that there will be no classes during Thanksgiving week. Through Nov. 4: Prof. Lucas Kelly Featured in Solo Exhibition. Lucas Kelly, MCCC Professor of Visual Arts and Director of The Gallery at Mercer, invites the MCCC community to his solo exhibition, "Last First Dance," at the Center for Contemporary Arts (CCA). Nov. 8: Fourth Annual Culinary Tasting Benefit Hosted by HRIM program. MCCC's HRIM program is inviting the college community to a feast at the Fourth Annual Culinary Tasting Benefit, a benefit for HRIM scholarships.
